And if you make it to Ballard, stop by Salmonberry Goods for a selection of cookies: salted chocolate chip, peanut butter sesame, and onion rye. Not a typo.
No recommendations for food adventures, but a great show about coffee : Would you like a cup of coffee?, south-Korean show from 2021. It's about an aging cafe owner and his young apprentice, lots of other things too including music. Beautifully written and filmed, great acting, and it talks a lot about coffee of course, including affogato !
In Seattle, Fuji Bakery! There are a few locations, but what's important is that you get the crunchy cream malasada.

Where can I watch it?
I don't know about the USA, here in Europe it's available on Viki. In some countries you can watch it on Netflix.
Where?! I want to watch it too!
kane's donuts by seaport in boston (quick train away from the sinclair) makes undeniably good, extremely heavy (but somehow not dense!) donuts.
I am a huge fan of affogato. My favorite is stilly lemon gelato affogato which people are deeply suspicious of but I promise, it is amazing!
